Thanks for posting these.. I've saved them to my hard drive, if I ever feel the want to view them again later.. My mother and I stopped by Holy Cross early Saturday, and I left her some white roses. I just can't believe it's been a year already..

peace and love

Thanks Josh!

We can't believe it has been almost a year either. Time is relentless...

We have all the raw footage that they shot of Emily at camp last year. If you ever want to see it or would like a copy let me know. I have not watched it yet but I hear it is very funny stuff.

I too can not believe that it has already been almost a year. I have felt the darkness of October approaching for a while and it consumes me. Your right time is relentless, It is also very vicious. It tries to make you forget but your heart is stronger and throughout your day you are reminded of your pain. I live very close to Holly Cross and as I drive by I find myself getting silent within the confines of my vehicle. I reflect on the good times and the bad. By the time that I pass the place that has a piece of my heart resting in it, I find myself in tears. Time does not heal all wounds. It does however provide time to reflect on the damage that life can do to ones soul. It also provides time to make a difference in a child's life. It is due to Emily that I strive every day to be a better person, parent and teacher. I will be seeing you very soon, thank you for considering me in your weekend plans.

I came across your blog while searching for a photo of the Durango-Silverton NGRR to use on a cake.
I did not know Emily, but am amazed at what a mature, well versed, beautiful young woman she was. She did indeed leave a legacy.
Love and peace to you and your family,
Adele
